What is Malwarebytes?

If we serviced your computer or laptop you are probably wondering what this red icon on your desktop is for?
This program is designed to remove all types of malware,trojans,spyware,backdoors and some rootkits.

I will give you a brief tutorial on how to run the program and keep your computer malware free.

I recommend updating the program before you begin, click on update tab.

select check for updates

malwarebytes will connect to the update server and attempt to download the latest database version.

If successful, you will see the following message:

Now you are ready to begin the scan on your computer. Go back to the "Scanner" tab,

Quick Scan if you are in a hurry takes about 10-20min depending on your computer speed.

Full Scan if you want to perform a deep analysis of your entire hard drive. Aprox Time 1hr-2hrs.

Now you will wait for the scan to complete, as you can see I already see an infection in RED color, those are the infections found.

Once the scan is complete, select Show Results

You will be able to see the type of infection your system has and the location of it, select Remove Selected.

You might get a report of the removal process, you can just close it.

Finally if you removed all infections you will see

Congratulations, you successfully have removed infections on your computer.
